Origins Pain2Freedom method is a unique bodywork concept and technique developed by Pierre Morton. Pain2Freedom method emphasises the mental awareness and focused breathing of the client during the administering of deep pressure point palpitation by the practitioner.

After years working as a Body Stress Release practitioner and exploring bodywork in South East Asia, Pierre pioneered this simple and effective form of energetic and muscular healing.
The foundational concept of Pain2Freedom method is:
feeling is healing.
The mental/emotional and physical feelings that we resist, manifest as pain in our body. When the breath and mind are truly present with physical discomfort- a transformation at the root of the discomfort begins to occur.
In this way Pain2Freedom method is a combination of mental awareness, guided breathwork and a unique style of rhythmic pressure point palpitation.
Pain2Freedom is an original modality and is not a recreation or a combination of any other bodywork technique.

What happens during a session?
Before the healing work commences, the practitioner makes a general analysis of joint mobility through a series of movement tests. Then, administering pressures to key neuromuscular points, the practitioner reads the breath as a biofeedback mechanism in order to further establish which areas are holding the most muscular tension. This allows the practitioner to form an educated overview of the individual's current muscular tension.

Once the individual's current muscular tension is thoroughly assessed- the healing work begins.
The mental attention and breath of the client are the key elements for the healing, whilst it is the practitioner's role to skilfully and sensitively provide the appropriate pressure point stimulus. Pain2Freedom sessions can be considered a meditative experience, as well as a bodywork healing experience.

Pain2Freedom is not a quick fix bodywork modality, but aims to provide deep change to the neuromusculature over time in the same way that a dedicated yoga practice does. Most people need to consider 5 to 10 sequenced sessions for worthy results.

In the advanced stages of a Pain2Freedom healing process, assisted deep stretching and Origins Movement are added to the work.
This effectively reshapes the musculature, improves neurological communication and assists the body in healing itself from (eg):
• Back/neck pain or Spinal injury
• Burning or tingling sensations
• Cramps
• Stress overload
• Headaches or migraines

What is Bodywork?
Bodywork is the collective term for all healing modalities that use human touch to massage, press, stretch or manipulate the musculature and joints and influence neurological function. Bodywork is a time-proven healing tool that provides huge support for the muscular, neurological and lymphatic systems. Bodywork has been used universally by ancient and indigenous cultures.

Please note
*Clients remain fully clothed during these sessions and are asked to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes. Trousers, instead of skirts or dresses are requested to be worn.
*During the healing work, clients will be guided to focus on their breath and the pressures administered. At this part of the session persistent chatting and talking will greatly hinder the healing.
